COVID-19 Safety Guidelines for Massage Therapy:
Because we are located and work within a business alongside other healthcare practitioners, the State of Colorado encourages masks to be worn in a limited healthcare facility. They periodically update their website and we follow their guidelines while choosing what works best for our office and clientele. Click here for more info.
We are currently NOT requiring masks to be worn in our office unless you are preparing to travel, have recently traveled, are pregnant, are immunocompromised, or wish to wear a mask to minimize spread of any illness. We will continue to wear masks from time to time and to respect our clients wishes if they choose to wear a mask.
Things to keep in mind regarding COVID and variants:
1. ILLNESS: If you are sick, please contact us as soon as possible and STAY HOME. If you are showing any signs of COVID-19 (fever, coughing, GI distress, fatigue, etc.) or have been in contact with anyone who tested positive for COVID-19 or any variants, you will need to be rescheduled for a later date.
2. SANITATION: All of our cleaning and sanitizing protocols have not changed because we already had those in place before the pandemic. This includes changing out all linens, including blankets and face cradle coverings for every client. Nothing is reused! We wipe down all surfaces touched by both client and therapist after every session and use a high concentrated alcohol spray afterwards. We each have air purifiers in our individual offices and UV wands.
We are aware that there are risks involved in receiving massage because of being in close proximity with another person for long periods of time, but we also know how important it is to continue receiving bodywork for physical and emotional wellbeing. It is our goal to promote respect, kindness, and safety in moving forward through these times.
