Jeremy & Karen Kuban- LMT's since 2015
Jeremy Kuban ~
Jeremy is our pain specialist for IMS who has gained experience working in a medical massage clinic. This clinical style is what he brings into his work.
“I enjoy taking a more methodical approach to massage therapy by making a thorough evaluation and setting specific goals for each session. One thing that I do a lot is take measurements of a client’s range of motion before the initial session so that the client is able to see their own progress and appreciate the value of the work.”
Jeremy enjoys working with people that have chronic pain, whether it’s amputees, injured athletes, people in pain because of job related movements, or those that suffer from multiple sclerosis. He is always looking for new ways to help his clients boost their performance, prevent injuries, and recover from trauma.
Jeremy graduated from CSHA (Colorado School of Healing Arts) with an Associates of Occupational Studies degree. He has certifications in Manual Vacuum Cupping Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage, Craniosacral Therapy, Sports Massage, and Prenatal Massage.
Karen Kuban ~
Karen gained experience in the health care profession by working in the dental field in her late teens & early twenties. Having experienced the high levels of stress and the various musculoskeletal aches & pains that come from working in the dental industry, her goal is to help Dental Professionals stay in their chosen career longer with less pain than she had. She also uses her experience to help those who suffer from symptoms related to TMJ Dysfunction and to manage pain from dental procedures & braces. Whether using Vacuum Cupping Therapy, Craniosacral therapy, Intra-Oral Therapy, traditional bodywork, or Reflexology, Karen is dedicated to providing compassionate support to people living with chronic pain.
"Massage Therapy has provided the support I need to help my body deal with chronic pain, and I want to be able to share that relief with others. I have an Autoimmune issue that affects my daily life, but therapeutic massage has helped me live a better quality of life with much less pain & stress. If I had known about the benefits of massage earlier in my dental career, I could've saved myself many days and nights of dealing with severe pain."
Karen graduated from CSHA (Colorado School of Healing Arts) in Lakewood Colorado with an Associates of Occupational Studies degree in Massage Therapy. In addition, she received training at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy formerly in Boulder, Colorado.
