Infrared Heating Pad

The infrared heating pad helps melt your tissues and provides a deep feeling of warmth into skin, muscles, and bones, similar to being out in the sunshine. It is unique in that Infrared heat can penetrate up to 60 mm, which is 20-30 times deeper than regular heat. It is effective for chronic pain or acute injury anywhere on the body by reducing inflammation and increasing circulation. We like to use this in conjunction with our massage work as a complement to the session as a whole.

Hot Basalt Stones & Cool Marble Stones

Basalt Stones - These are perfect for providing penetrating heat into the muscles and connective tissues throughout the body. They are very healing and produce a sedative effect on our nervous system. Hot stones promote deep relaxation, encourages blood flow, relieves chronic pain, and reduces stress. Plus it feels so darn good!

Marble Stones - You might be wondering "Why in the world would I want cold stones applied to my body"? Marble stones are a complement to the hot Basalt stones and create balance within our bodies. They deliver a cooling sensation that is actually quite pleasant to experience. Marble stones also promote blood flow, are a powerful decongestant, is tonifying & strengthening to several body systems, especially the immune system, and interrupts the pain-spasm-pain cycle. We use these stones in conjunction with hot stones for an effect that is simply amazing- rejuvenation of muscle tissues, reduction of inflammation & swelling, and profound reduction in pain. Delicious!

CBD Oil

If you haven't jumped on the CBD Oil bandwagon yet or have felt reluctant to try out a topical application, we invite you to give it a try. It's wonderful! The CBD oil we use is legal in all 50 states and does not contain constituents that give you a "high". CBD oils possess anti-inflammatory & neuroprotective properties that our bodies readily accept. Since cannabinoids do not damage our liver or central nervous system, it is a safe drug-free alternative to NSAIDS (ibuprofen, acetaminophen, etc.) and other over-the-counter pain relievers. It is safe for children as well!

We have tried several different companies and have settled on a few of our favorites so far. We love to support our local farms, so we have compiled our list of folks to check out for yourself:
